Baptisms & ceremonies

Piano and organ for baptisms and ceremonies

Zurich · throughout Switzerland

A baptism or blessing brings people together for a meaningful family moment. Irina Grebaus shapes these ceremonies with carefully chosen piano or organ music.

Music that belongs to the ceremony

Gentle classical pieces, sacred melodies or a personally chosen song can accompany the opening, transitions and closing. The programme is agreed with your family and the person leading the celebration so that music and spoken words work together.

A church or a personal setting

In a church, the existing instrument can fill the space naturally. Elsewhere, piano offers a flexible musical setting. SwissDuo adds cello with piano or organ for a different colour. Organ suitability and permission to use it are agreed with the venue.

Ensemble and planning

Irina performs solo piano or with Sandi Toka Nova as SwissDuo: cello & piano or cello & organ. If the venue has no piano, an electric piano can be provided by arrangement. An electric grand piano is available on request at an additional cost. Share your date, venue, schedule and musical wishes so that the ensemble, equipment and proposal can be tailored to your occasion.

Your questions

Can you coordinate with our minister?

Yes. Share their contact details and the ceremony plan so that repertoire, lengths and cues can be agreed.

Do you also play at nonreligious celebrations?

Yes. A personal family ceremony can be accompanied by an individually planned piano programme.
